The principal of Elmarie van Coller Properties, Elmarie van Coller, stepped into the industry to help others. She learnt how to conduct herself in the business world by listening to her father, whom she idolised. Elmarie believes in spreading positivity throughout the community and serving others.
Coming from a business background, she loves her industry, and loves knowing what is happening in her business and surroundings. During hard times, Elmarie believes in maintaining focus, keeping consistent, and never stopping marketing. She believes in always delivering services and going the extra mile for her clients. “Wees vroulik, maar staan jou man,” she says. Elmarie believes in women collaborating and does not feel threatened by others. She believes women should be a team that can make a difference and help one another.
Three ways she keeps her business running is through honesty, loyalty, and giving glory and honour to her Saviour.
To women entering the business world, she encourages them to know what their purpose and passion is, and feels they need to research and see if their industry and personality match.
Away from the office, Elmarie enjoys being in nature and gardening, and says that nature is a place to unwind and be close to God
