Ginny Porter from the South African Writer’s Circle will be conducting writing workshops for aspiring authors, as well as published authors who would like to sharpen their writing skills.
Ginny is a published author and academic with a Masters in Higher Education. She has extensive experience in teaching and running workshops. Ginny has been involved with the SA Writers’ Circle since 1999 and over the years has arranged many writing seminars and run numerous workshops. She has published books from children’s to academic literature and general fiction. Currently she obtains work from educational institutions to edit academic work.
The workshops will be conducted on three consecutive Wednesdays (13, 20 and 27 November 2019) from 10am to 1pm. The venue is in Room G4, Westville Library, Westville Civic Centre, Leister Drive, Westville. Contact 031 311 6591.
The cost of the course is R100 per session, totalling R300. The textbook for the course will be available at the workshop for purchase at a cost of R120.
