Pop open the bubbles and celebrate

WHETHER you like your bubbly refreshing and fruity, crisp and dry or full with a touch of sweetness, there’s one for you in the just launched Krone 2018 Cap Classiques range. The Krone Borealis Vintage Cuvee Brut is a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir … elegant and lovely with mussels. The Vintage Rose Cuvee Brut is a pretty salmon pink bubbly, wth 87 per cent pinot noir and 13 per cent Chardonnay. It’s all fresh red fruits and we’ll be drinking it with a salmon this festive season.

The Krone Vintage Night Nectar Demi-Sec is the closest in style to the first famous sparkling wines of France a century ago. It’s full, plush and expansive and is perfect with rich, indulgent dishes.  The Krone Vintage Night Nectar Demi-Sec Rose  is a  lustrous pink-copper bubbly … refreshing and fruit-forward, it’s yummy with prawns grilled on the coals, with a strawberry cream cake, with rose-water macarons, and is probably our favourite. You’ll find them for around R150 each at your local bottle store.  Details: kronemcc.com, Facebook: Facebook.com/KroneMCC, Twitter and Instagram: @KroneMCC
