Here are some tips on how to use lock down time to your advantage

As our country embarks on a 21-day lock down, International award-winning business coaching firm, ActionCOACH Ignite, share three suggestions on how to use the lock down time to your advantage.

Work ‘on’ your business: During the year business owners generally have little time, are rushed and often get stuck working ‘in’ the business. Use these 21 days positively and spend time working ‘on’ the business. You could work on your budget, marketing plan, 3 year strategy or update your business plan. Perhaps work on growing your digital database while you have time and no distractions. You could systemize your business by working on your standard operating procedures that often take a fair amount of time to compile.

Enhance your learning: Make time to grow your knowledge by downloading e-books, sign up for educational webinars or register for an online course to grow your skill set.

Communicate: Communication during this time is crucial. Set regular check-ins with your staff who are working remotely, whether daily or bi-weekly. Touch base with your team to find out how they are doing and to make sure that they are on track in terms of plans, tasks and activities that were set for action during lock down.
