Community Chest Durban hosted its AGM, attended by board members and community impact partners, to acknowledge and thank individual donors, sponsors of events, in-kind donors, and longstanding partners for contributing to making the organisation’s work within local communities a reality. Through community development projects and the generous donations received, the Community Chest Durban has continued to positively impact early childhood development, children, youth and family care, and residential care for the elderly and homeless, mentally handicapped, and disabled people. For the 2024 and 2025 period, they managed to allocate R18 million in grants to 108 non-profit organisations.
