What to eat when you just can’t decide?

We’ve all been there. It’s dinner time, you’re hungry, the fridge is giving ‘maybe tomorrow’ vibes, and your brain has checked out of the decision-making process.

So what do you eat when you’ve got options – but no clear craving? You could scroll endlessly through food delivery apps… or you could take the easier, tastier route and let Rael Lurie – owner of Westville Superspar – and his team tempt you with their top deli favourites, plus a recipe or two that might actually convince you to stick around in your kitchen.

The comfort king: Lamb curry with all the trimmings

When the weather is chilly and the hunger is real, nothing hits the spot quite like a hearty lamb curry. Rael swears by their on-the-bone lamb curry, which is mild enough for most palates but packed with deep, warming flavour. Served with rice, soft rotis or tucked into their signature round bunny bread, it’s a dish that wraps you up in a hug of spice and satisfaction.

Don’t forget to grab a portion of sambals – the crunchy, zesty extras that elevate every bite.

Tip: Grab a takeaway portion, heat it up at home, and add a dollop of plain yoghurt and fresh coriander to make it feel home-cooked.

Wholesome and customisable: The wrap station

If you’re looking for something lighter, The Wrap Station is a go-to for many shoppers. Located at the ‘Island of Fresh’ in the food stall, you can build your own wrap with a choice of chicken, beef or vegetarian fillings. It’s a brilliant option when you want something quick, balanced, and filling without the fuss.
