Durban’s promenade came alive in a vibrant display of colour recently as hundreds gathered for the Cancer Association of South Africa’s (CANSA) 5km Colour Walk. Hosted by Hopelands Cancer Centre, Busamed Gateway Private Hospital and Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital, the event brought together people of all ages in support of CANSA’s ongoing work in education, early detection screening, and care for patients and their families. From brightly coloured hair spray to ribbons representing different cancer journeys, the atmosphere was one of unity, hope and heartfelt support, with participants walking side by side for a cause that has touched so many lives.
