During National Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Month, the Durban community came together at the Donor Tribute Day at Durban Botanic Gardens to honour the incredible KZN organ and tissue donors whose final act of generosity has helped save and transform lives.
Hosted by local organisation Hero777 and Durban transplant co-ordinators, the heartfelt gathering recognised the courage and generosity of donors and their families, while celebrating the transplant recipients whose lives have been changed through donation.
