More than 200 women gathered at Hillcrest High School for the annual Angel Fund brunch, with former East Coast Radio personality Jane Linley-Thomas inspiring guests to keep dreaming, take chances and follow their next chapter, whatever their age. From charcuterie boxes prepared by the school’s Consumer Studies Department and Catering Club learners, to fabulous raffle prizes, hampers and an incredible two-night stay at Pumula Beach Hotel, it was a morning filled with generosity, connection and plenty of spoils. And the generosity didn’t stop there. The fundraiser raised more than R30 000 to support Hillcrest High School learners whose families are facing financial challenges, helping provide essentials such as lunches, stationery and school uniforms – a huge reminder that a little support can make a very big difference.
