Women from a range of professional and business backgrounds gathered at Summerhill Estate in Cowies Hill for the inaugural Buhle Makhanya (BM) Associates Women’s Day Brunch on August 15, held under the theme Connect. Celebrate. Empower. Choose Yourself. The intimate afternoon created space for meaningful conversations around women’s health and wellbeing, leadership, personal growth, financial wellbeing and business, while encouraging connection and collaboration. The event also marked the launch of Women Who Lead & Thrive, a BM Associates initiative created to connect, develop, celebrate and support women as they navigate leadership, careers, business and personal wellbeing. Judging by the enthusiastic response from guests, there is already plenty of interest in seeing the brunch return in 2027.
