Garden enthusiasts and botanical buffs, get ready to feast your eyes on the striking fauna and flora on show at the Botanical Society Winter Gardens, hosted by Renishaw Hills in Scottburgh, KZN South Coast on Saturday, 8 July.
Set in the mature lifestyle village, which is surrounded by coastal forests, and biodiverse wetlands, this is truly a nature lover’s haven. Look forward to seeing a large array of striking aloes in bloom, along with other indigenous beauties that attract gorgeous butterflies and birds.
Enjoy the Winter Gardens’ walks headed up by renowned South African botanist, landscaper, and author of best-selling field guides on wildflowers and trees, Dr Elsa Pooley.
The gardens will be open from 9am till 3pm with walks at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Tickets cost R60pp, pensioner, and BotSoc rate: R50pp. Price includes morning tea and treats, and lunchtime sandwiches. Bookings for the walk are essential as groups are limited.
As this is a fundraiser event for the Botanical Society, a charitable organisation, entry into Renishaw Hills on Saturday 8th will require a donation to the Botanical Society, for both visitors and those going on the guided walk
