Delicious aromas wafted from the kitchen at Sprigs The Food Shop during our Brunch with Bruce, a mushroom-inspired vegetarian wellness brunch hosted by Thrive and homeopathic doctor and acupuncturist Dr. Bruce Thomson. Guests, us included, were treated to a healthy brunch, featuring Dr Broth’s delicious Vegan Broth made with mixed mushrooms, kelp and ginger, fresh juices from The Juice Kitchen and great tips on how to boost and strengthen our immune systems by including mushrooms in our diets. Wellness consultants from Thrive and experts from A.Vogel SA gave advice on supplements and ways to strengthen the body’s natural defence system while we networked with great people, fed our bodies and souls. Such bliss!
