These four words formed the resounding theme of the Umhlanga Women Achievers’ networking breakfast, which we attended at Northwood Crusaders in Durban North, featuring one of our favourite human beings, Keri Miller. Over a delicious breakfast buffet, Keri spoke about authenticity and purpose, and reminded us of just how good our lives can be if we put in the effort. We had the chance to enjoy a little retail therapy at the on-site mini market, and every guest was encouraged to bring a pre-loved handbag or toiletries that were given to the Jess Foord Foundation. This foundation relies solely on individual and corporate donations to keep their rape counselling and care initiatives running.
