Celebrating 30 years since her humble home studio beginnings to her success today – as one of KZN’s Top Business Women, Studio 39 Jewellery Design’s Kim Dyason hosted a very elegant dinner and dance show to mark the occasion. As pearls are symbolic of 30th anniversaries, she dared all of her guests, gents included, to don their finest attire and dress it up with pearls. Dancers from Mark Wilson Dance Studio provided entertainment during the evening and as part of her own initiative, Kim also kicked off her Giving Back Campaign through which she is collecting unwanted strands of beads, gems and pearls, and will be helping to uplift and upskill the women at her chosen charity Tent City, a non-profit organisation on the South Coast that provides shelter, bedding and food for more than 120 adults and children. If you’re interested in supporting this cause, any donations can be dropped off at Studio 39, Shop 16, Fields Shopping Centre, Kloof.
