From April 2 to 6, Splashy Fen will transform the Southern Drakensberg into a celebration of live music, community and unforgettable experiences. Marking its 35th anniversary, the festival promises a spectacular line-up, featuring Jeremy Loops, Matthew Mole, Veranda Panda, Jesse Clegg, Louise Carver, Billy Raffoul (Canada), Jack And The Weatherman (Netherlands) and more. 21 March … Get ready for the most colourful day of your life! The TMG Colour Run returns on Saturday, March 21 at Westville Country Club, promising a fun-filled celebration for all ages. Flatfoot Dance Company brings its powerful school touring programme to KwaZulu-Natal, offering high school learners a moving encounter with dance, poetry, and South African history. History is a Home Address, a choreo-poem inspired by the writings of renowned poet and activist Dr Mongane Wally Serote, invites Grade 8 to 12 students to reflect on memory, identity, and the histories we carry in our bodies and hearts. The performance blends contemporary African dance, spoken word, and physical theatre, re-imagining iconic poems such as City Johannesburg and No Baby Must Weep. Each school presentation includes a facilitated post-performance discussion, and an extended package offers a practical workshop encouraging learners to respond creatively to the themes explored. With a national and international reputation for excellence, Flatfoot brings world-class contemporary African dance directly into schools, making live performance and critical thinking accessible to young people.
