Following a comprehensive verification process, 125 057 valid submissions remained, contributing more than
1.08 million verified votes across 2 282 local businesses.

Readers also submitted almost 110 000 reviews, making this year’s campaign one of the most engaged yet.
The most popular categories included Medical, Professional Services, Education, Food & Drink, and Entertainment & Hospitality, reflecting the breadth and quality of businesses serving Durban.
