Lovers of gin … mark your diary … the second Cradle Gin Festival is taking place on Sunday, 22 September at Riverstone Lodge, Muldersdrift. Promising a day full of gin-joyment, some distilleries will also show off their craft whisky, rum and liquors – which means it caters for everyone wanting to try craft deluxe distilled offerings. Being a family-friendly event, a dedicated children’s area will keep the children occupied while mom and dad enjoy the park-like surrounds of the Lodge. The focus of the festival is to encourage people to taste and enjoy more than 20 different offerings from deluxe distilleries from around SA, mixed with the existing and new tonics and mixers from Schweppes.
Tickets: R160 per person (includes a beautiful large gin glass, one gin & tonic and entertainment in a beautiful river setting).
VIP tickets: R350 per person (includes above plus a sit-down lunch). If you are driving in from far away, why not take advantage of the overnight show and stay accommodation package at Riverstone Lodge.
