Inspired by family, driven by purpose and committed to people, Tatiana Rembold is helping carry the legacy of CPI World into the future while creating one of her own.
The woman who inspires her most isn’t a celebrity or a global business leader, it’s her mother, Lize Hunt.
Having started working alongside her at just 16 years old, she witnessed first-hand the sacrifices, resilience and determination it took to build CPI World while raising a family as a single mother. “People often see the successful businesswoman. I see the woman who never stopped fighting,” she says. Today, she considers it a privilege to help protect the business, the people and the legacy her mother worked so hard to build.
Tatiana describes CPI World in three words: strength, heart and legacy. Strength, because the company stands alongside clients through every challenge. Heart, because every decision begins with people. And legacy, because for more than 21 years the business has built relationships founded on trust.
Her definition of success has changed over the years. While she once focused on business growth and milestones, she now measures success by the lives they impact. Helping businesses thrive, protecting livelihoods and creating careers for employees are the achievements that matter most. “Success isn’t measured by numbers anymore. It’s measured by the lives you impact and the legacy you leave behind.”
She believes one of the biggest misconceptions about payroll and HR is that it’s simply administration. Every payslip represents a family, every compliance decision protects a business and every client represents a dream worth safeguarding.
When challenges arise, she chooses calm over chaos. “I choose to respond instead of react,” she says, believing that composure is one of a leader’s greatest strengths.
Away from the office, her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and daughter, making memories together and appreciating the beauty of a Free State sunset. During the day, a few cappuccinos keep her going, while a crisp glass of dry white wine is her perfect way to end another meaningful day.
