More than 80 women gathered at Bonne Chance Restaurant, Le Domaine on Saturday, 23 November, to attend the PinkDrive Careways Charity Breakfast.
PinkDrive member, Janice Benecke and Michelle Pillay, did a very informative talk on breast cancer awareness and the causes of it. This was followed by free breast examinations in a private room. Barbara Taljard spoke on behalf of Careways, and did a great job explaining the challenges parents of mentally disabled children face in life… many wet eyes in the audience.
The event also collected underwear for the Jess Ford foundation and Bras for Nation Changers.
