FOCUS! Get It readers snap some extraordinary photos on our first wildlife photographic safari

Our Get It Canon Wildlife Photographic Safari at the exceptional Thanda Tented Camp in Zululand’s Big Five country was a roaring (see what we did there!) success.

Around 30 keen photographers and Get It readers came down for the event from as far afield as Polokwane and Pretoria, and spent the weekend with top Canon and wildlife photographers, who shared their tips, expertise and entertaining stories about capturing wildlife.

The animals – large and fierce, small and pretty – joined the party … obligingly showing off their best sides for the photographers. All the photos were really exceptional … with a few snapping up the big prizes.

Best pic of the weekend went to Sue Vacy-Lyle from Hillcrest, who won a Canon EIS RP mirrorless camera for her brilliant bird pic.
